APEX-1 characteristics (SHeFI 230 GHz band)

• T_REC vs RF range measured on site : LSB tuning and USB tuning

These measurements were taken using the average value of the FFTS backend every GHz for the 4 GHz of IF. The specified frequency is the central RF frequency and the sideband is also specified. The measured temperatures are in a T_SSB scale.

• T_REC vs IF measured on site at discrete RF frequencies

These measurements were taken using the FFTS backend combining the 4 GHz of IF. The specified frequency is the central RF frequency and the sideband is also specified. The measured temperatures are in a T_SSB scale.

• Sideband ratio measured on site at CO(2-1)USB frequency

These measurements were taken using a spectrum analyzer and injecting a narrow test signal which is moved in frequency to span the 4-8 GHz of the IF.

• On-sky measurements of sideband ratio at discrete frequencies

These measurements were made on-sky using strong sources and the receiver was tuned alternatively LSB and USB to have the line either in the signal or image band.
