Calibration of ArTeMiS data

Intensity Calibration

Zenith opacities

The opacity of the sky can be determined via skydip measurements. We are currently performing tests to compare the opacity resulting from the skydip reduction to that computed from the precipitable water vapour (PWV) and an atmospheric model.

Stay tuned !!

Beam size

The beam at 350 μm has been measured to be 8.5 arcsec., which is in good agreement with the beam of the 12m APEX dish.

Array Parameters

The array parameter files include the relative offsets of the individual channels as well as their relative gains. You can access to the RCP file here.
