Sleep’s Hygiene

 

Avoid naps, no more than 10 to 15 minutes

 

Do exercise regularly, 40 minutes per day; not after 6:00pm

 

Do not be exposed to bright light before going to bed

 

Remain at sunlight 30 minutes after getting up

 

Do not smoke after 7 am

 

Stop eating 3 hours before going to bed

 

Your bedroom must be dark, in silence, ventilated and tempered throughout the night

 

Avoid coffee after 10 am

 

It is useful relaxing reading or self-hypnosis exercises

 

The occasional use of hypnotics can be useful.
