CETHA HISTORY

Asociación Chilena de Seguridad, based upon Law 16.744 on Professional Accidents and Diseases, with an emphasis on risk prevention for accidents at work and professional diseases, created in May 1997 the Centro de Ergonomía del Trabajo Humano en Altitud (C.E.T.H.A) in the physical Area of ACHS- II Region, Antofagasta. Its main objective is to trigger scientific research in the areas where working conditions are extreme, as geographical altitude is. And it gathers a group of highly specialized professionals.
