LABOCA Array Parameters

Here we collect the array parameter files for all LABOCA observing intervals at APEX. For the reduction of a project which was observed during a given interval, download the corresponding rcp-file and include it into your BoA session or reduction macro via updateRCP('filename'). You should also get the list of suspicious channels and include it in your reduction via execfile('channel_flags-<date>.boa') for flagging. See the BoA User Manual for further details.

The results presented here should not prevent you from checking your target data for bad channels (i.e. showing excess noise, no signal, or cross-talk). The MBFITS raw data files for all beammaps should be available from the ESO data archive.

May - Sep 2007	We are currently working on the channel parameters and channel flags for this period. They will be published here as soon as they are available. Until then, please use LABOCA-centred.rcp to reduce your data taken between May and September 2007.

Notes

• All channel numbers correspond to backend channels. The translation from the 320 backend channels to the 295 bolometer channels is available from the file channels_full_set.20070509.txt (although the standard user will hardly ever need it).
• If some channels are considered "bad" during a certain time intervall, most likely there do not exist channel gains and offsets for these channels in the corresponding rcp-file. Thus they must be flagged. If not, the default offsets and gains from the MBFITS-files would be used, which are inaccurate for 2007 and 2008. Those channels are listed in red in the "Individual channels" section on the "Details" pages.
