As of 1st of September 2023, Dr. Juan Pablo Perez-Beaupuits has assumed as APEX Station Manager, taking over from Dr. Carlos A. Durán.
Dr. Perez-Beaupuits has been long known to APEX, first coming as a user / visiting astronomer, and then directly working at APEX as APEX Staff Astronomer (ESO) and Max-Planck PUC visiting astronomer (PUC Chile).
APEX happily welcomes Dr. Perez Beaupuits in this new role and wishes him the best, and at the same time, wishes good luck to Dr. Durán in his new endeavour at IRAM / Granada.
